Fun in the Field - High Point Family Portraits

I spotted a little field with yellow flowers the other day and decided I wanted to take some pictures there. Luckily, the next day some of our friends asked to get some pictures taken, so here are some of the results.

Antelope Canyon

I was lucky enough to go to Antelope Canyon in Arizona a few days ago. I can honestly say it's the most beautiful place I have ever been. That's saying a lot since I was at Grand Canyon a few days prior, and that's not too shabby either. It is truly breathtaking. I was smiling from ear to ear like a kid in a candy store the entire two hours I was there.

These small images don't even do it justice, but I'll have a few of these blown up in the house before too much longer :)

And for those of you wondering, no, photoshop played no role in adding the light beams! Just before noon, these small rays of light pour through the openings in the rocks above and put on a glorious display.

Gabe

Saturday afternoon I got to capture some beautiful moments for another wonderful family. I hope they will be able to cherish these for many many years. Here are just a couple of them.

Jack and Luke

Luke turned one a couple weeks ago, so he brought his family in to get some pictures made! Mom told me he wasn't a smiler, but dad helped get him crack a few for us.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Last night I got to take my two daughter's to a "Daddy Daughter Dance" in downtown Greensboro. I brought my camera to take a few quick shots between food and dancing. What kind of Daddy would I be if I didn't post a couple of these cuties :)

They ran into a friend at the dance and quickly stole her from her Daddy so they dance together.

Commercial Photography

I was recently hired by Gilbarco to photograph some of their old equipment and their factory in action to create a few framed prints that they will be hanging in their Greensboro, NC offices.

This retired gas pump has become an antique decoration in the cafeteria.

These parts had just been hand assembled...

Newborn Session

A while ago I had the pleasure of photographing this precious little one and her mom. So tiny now, but her one year birthday will be here before you know it!
